Car Keys
This group is for drivers. It covers openings, replacement keys and fobs, key programming, broken-key extraction from doors and ignitions, and ignition repair. Bring your ownership papers and identification; the rest we can usually work out from the vehicle itself.

Which one do I need?
- The trunk is full of groceries, the cart is back in its corral, and the keys are sitting in the cup holder in plain view.Car Lockout Service
- The fob went through the washing machine in a jacket pocket.Car Key Replacement
- A car sits at the cottage all season, and the only key to it lives on a ring three hours away in the city.Spare Car Key Duplication
- A cracked case or a spin through the wash left the fob unresponsive, and opening it up reveals a slightly corroded board where the buttons used to sit.Key Fob Programming
- It is a cold morning and the fob has to be pressed twice, sometimes three times, before the doors respond, and one week later it stops answering entirely.Transponder Key Programming
- The car arrived with one worn-looking key and a story about a lost spare.Ignition Lock Repair

Car Lockout Service
Proving the car is yours to open
Before a wedge or pick comes out, the locksmith confirms that the person asking has the right to be in that vehicle. Photo identification alongside the vehicle permit, the insurance card or a rental agreement settles it in a moment, because the permit carries the plate number and the owner's name and address. When those papers are in the glovebox, as they usually are, the locksmith notes your identification, opens the door, and matches the documents before leaving.
A company vehicle is confirmed with a call to the fleet contact. Roadside clubs ask their contractors for the same thing, and it is the step that keeps your own car safe from a stranger's claim.
